Hi ya!
Paul is going to the drs at 1:45pm this afternoon. I don't really know what is wrong with him. But I don't think it's teething anymore. Yesterday all day he didn't have a fever, but he just looked exhausted and he was super cuddly and just content to lay in our arms for an extended period of time, which is very unusual for him and he didn't want to play much. He didn't eat well. He did eat his meals and drink his bottles but he didn't eat or drink all of it. He didn't have quite the appetite that he normally has.
He slept mostly all night last night. He woke up fussy at 10 and was still up at 11:30, but he went back to sleep. I slept the rest of the night but chris reports that Paul woke up several times last night but put himself back to sleep, so Chris didn't actually have to get up. Then when I went to get him this morning, his sheets and pjs were soaked with sweat AND he was burning up...or felt that way anyways. His temp was 39.5 again :( I felt so bad and was so worried about him.
So, I called my mom before she had to go to work, after getting back from dropping chris at work (he had to work for 7am which isn't bad for the start of hell 2 weeks). Anyways, I asked about taking him to the drs (b/c I hate wasting people's time and there not being anything wrong kinda deal, so I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to look like a first time mom idiot person by calling the drs at the sign of a fever). Anyways, mom said that it was a good idea to get him checked out. If it's nothing they can do, and it is teething, then I have the peace of mind. But if its something else then at least I am being proactive about it. So, we'll see.
Cheryl called and asked about going out for breakfast today. I told her I couldn't pay this week, but she said she'd take care of it if I wanted to go...I told her about Paul, and I am still debating it. I will probably go...seeing that her work is on the way to Pauls drs office, and Paul likes being out...I am just not sure if he's up to it...I mean, he's in good spirits which is a good thing. I just dunno.
Other than that, I have no news.
Leave a note.

Hi.
Well, Chris and I had a nice date night...till we got home of course. We went out for dinner to our fav restaurant and it was packed when we got there and we were the last ones to leave. It was amusing. Then we filled up the gas tank and got the vehicle washed. Then we went to Port and tried not to get our vehicle hit by crazy drunken cars. Fun stuff. We were gone about 3 hours almost.
Anyways, on the way home, Chris was telling me he had a feeling that something was wrong with Paul. But when we got home, he was asleep and all was fine. So Chris and I hung out down stairs for a half hour for me and an hour for Chris. When he came upstairs, we could hear Paul fussing, so he went in to change his diaper. HE came out carrying our baby a few minutes later saying he had to change Pauls bedding b/c Paul's sheets were soaked with sweat. So Paul and I hung out and I realized he was VERY warm. So, we took his temp. He had a fever. SO we gave him tylanol and tried to put him back to bed. A half hour later Paul was up again. I got him up and he felt like he was burning up. I've never felt him so hot before in my life! So I stripped him down, and we went into the bathtub to try to cool him down. The water was lukey warm so he screamed, which woke Chris up, so Chris went and called my mom and gave him his soother and that seemed to calm him.
After we got out, we gave him a massage, repj'd him and gave him a bottle (which we NEVER do in the middle of the night, but he did drink it). We put him back to bed. 10 minutes later, he screamed again, so we realized teddy was out of batteries, so we changed that, put him back to bed. Then I told Chris to go back to sleep, that I would deal with paul tonight and he could deal with him in the morning. I was up with Paul till 3am. In and out of his room, comforting him, cuddling with him, singing to him etc. Anything to get him to settle. FINALLY just before 3am, he finally settled.
He got up at 8:30am and Chris got up with him for an hour before I got up. (I would have slept SOOO much longer but I know if I did, it would have screwed me up for tonights sleep, so I got my sorry ass out of bed). Paul's fever has broken at this point. We are still giving him tylanol every 4 hours for 24 hours and see how that goes. He's still coughing and sneezing a lot, but I am hoping it's just teething.
Today, we aren't sure what we are going to do. We are going to move the BBQ out of the vehicle that we got from Chris' co worker. IT's black and awsome looking. :) I'm not sure what chris' plans are for the old one we have, but whatever. Then I think we might just hang around the house. We'll see.
Anyways, that's the news of this tired mama :)
