Hi!
Yep. It's true. Chris and I are going out on a date to celebrate our anniversery! I'm very excited. Most especially b/c our sitter yesterday called back and cancelled on us. I was sure we were stuck, and would either not go at all, or have to take Paul with us, and quite honestly, it wouldn't have been as much fun. Luckily, Cheryl is off tonight and has agreed to watch Paul for us while we go out for dinner :) I'm very excited!
So, on Chris' birthday thing, I have looked up under ticketmaster, and Terri Clark is playing at Casino Rama in October, so I think those are the tickets I am going to purchase with my mommy's help. But I have to get the weekend off first...which might be a challenge. or at least leave early on the saturday and take sunday off completely. dunno. Then if I do it, I have to find a sitter for Paul too, but I will worry about that once I find out if I can even take the time off work.
I really wanted him to see the Reba McIntyre tour b/c he loves her SOOO much, but she's playing in Edmonton, Calgary and Saskatoon. piff.
Anyways, I should run...just wanted to say hi!

Hi!
First, I want to tell you all that my mom and sister went to a psychic yesterday for a reading. It sounded like it was pretty positive all around. I know my mom got a real kick out of it. lol She asked about my job for me (because I asked her too, and she's super nice to me and remembered). Anyways, the answer was that she sees me changing jobs in either 4 weeks or 4 months. It will be what I want but we will have to relocate to get it. haha. (we just bought a house...don't think we're moving any time soon. lol). Mom also asked about grandchildren...and she said that I was not the specified one to have the next grandchild for my mommy, but another grandchild will be ariving, regardless, in the next 18 months. I am still *fingers crossed* it will be me...sorry, about Brad and Karsha..lol but they aren't trying and don't seem in a real hurry to add to the grandchild business...hehe. (I do love my brother and SIL, but I'm selfish..lol). OH, and she said Lisa would for sure be going to Australia for her law school. (I know Lisa's happy about it, but I don't want her to go b/c I would miss her way too much. *snif*, but I will of course, support my little sister in all her decisions). Mom is going to take a trip soon somewhere, and she is going to meet a 'new' guy who is really shy. *fingers crossed* for mom!!!
That was really fun. I wish I could have gone. There is a psychic fair this weekend in St. catharines, but I can't go b/c it's my long week to work...I work till 5pm both days, and I don't have the money at present.
Now, onto other news....my husband, who we all know and love, is turning the big 3-0 in September. hehe. (he is so upset about it though, you guys, and it really bugs him, so I can't even 'say' it out loud to him, I do anyways when he pisses me off, but you know what I mean). Anyways, I am inviting Chris' friends all out the Saturday night before Chris' birthday, to celebrate. We are just going to have dinner. Couples only. No kids. I think we are going to go to Montanas or something like that. Not sure the details yet. Chris knows about that part.
BUT, because he is turning the big 3-0, I want to do something even more special. I want to take him to see a concert of some kind (I haven't actually looked into the details yet, I am just forming my ideas here), and a night in a relatively cheap hotel room for the night. Just to get away, just the two of us. I am looking into sometime either late August, or the whole month of September, being that his birthday is the 10th of September. I think Chris will really like it, but I want that to be a surprise, right down to getting a sitter for Paul. Chances are I am going to have to ask family, or Cheryl, to watch Paul for the night, b/c I doubt I will be able to afford all that plus the cost of a sitter...who knows. we'll see when I pick a date. haha. I'm so excited though :)
On less exciting news, I have to work today. ack. Katherine is watching Paul for Chris this afternoon so he can cut his client's grass, being that our sitter is out of town. That should be interesting. I only have to work till 8pm tonight though as I am taking two hours of stat time. Very exciting.
Anyways, I guess I should run. Leave a note.

Hi.
I can't believe how tired I am right now and I have no reason to be this tired. I slept all night, but I didn't sleep well as I had nightmares all night. I guess I kept Chris awake too, which sucks.
Anyways, things are alright from this end. It's raining here so Paul and I won't be going anywhere. Chris has the car. We get it tomorrow, which will be nice. I am only going to go to see B and A in the afternoon anyways. It will still be nice to get out regardless.
Paul is teething again. Poor guy. I will be glad when he's finally done teething, but I know it will be a while longer yet. He's so adorable though.
M and B called me this morning to see how I was. I thought it was sweet of them. I have to go back to work the day after tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to it, but whatever. It's only for 4 days, no biggy, I can do it.
Tomorrow is Paul's birthday! He will officially turn 1 year old. I can't belive it...but I will wait and gush about it tomorrow. lol
Anyways, I am going to run. ttys Leave a note.

HI!
Yesterday we had Paul's first ever birthday party!!! His actual birthday isn't till wednesday, but we celebrated a bit early. This party was with my mom's side. Mom and Lisa came down for the event. It was so much fun to see them!!! Paul was so cute with them as well, sticking his tongue out at them and laughing at them, he had a great time! I bought a helium balloon that we put on his chair that said "baby's first birthday" on it. We had a banner than said "happy birthday" on it and a table cloth that said "happy birthday" as well. It was super fun.
Mom and Lisa made and decorated a cake for Paul, which was adorable. We opened up the gifts first b/c Paul was in a good mood, so we wanted to take advantage of it. Paul did really well for himself. He loved the paper and cards the most. hehe. However, Paul got a new outfit from the animals (KC, Comet, Beijos and Hammy). Lisa and Jeff bought him this really cool bubble machine and a teddy bear that talks and moves and tells stories and sings songs. Very awsome! Mom got Paul a new wagon!!!!!!! It has a door and cupholders in it. Chris and Lisa worked on putting it together but it was missing a piece, so Mom and Chris took it back and got it exchanged. When they came back, they put it together and Chris took Paul out for a ride down the sidewalk with it. TOO CUTE! Then we sang happy birthday to Paul and he got all messy and covered in icing with the whole cake bit.
I think he had a great time!!! Then, it was bed time because they didn't get here till just before supper time, which was alright. They bought me maccroons as a peace offering for being late :P haha. Anyways, Paul went down for the night easily enough and Chris got the BBQ ready. Then half way thur the bbq'ing the propane tank died so we had to refill it. Lisa went with Chris for the car ride. Then he finished bbq'ing and we had dinner and cake. YUM!! They had to go shortly after that because it was getting really late.
I had a great time. I really enjoyed their visit. I think Paul likes this birthday deal. hehe. Anyways, here are a couple pics of the birthday party:

Hi...
So my Sup called me yesterday and wants to meet with me today before I go into work for a follow up to the nosebleed incident. I have no idea why. He says it's no big deal, but it still has me a bit freaked out. Anyways, then I have my interview for B's position on Monday morning at 11am. Thank God, I was able to get Cheryl to come over and babysit b/c my sitter, my friend, my neighbour and chris all couldn't do it. I am so glad she is able to take care of Paul for me. I just have to pay her with taking her out for lunch. I can do that! lol
I've also lost my bank card. Can't find the friggin thing anywhere and I blame Chris. He, in his drunkin state, last Sat gave me my card at our neighbours house and I haven't seen it since. I have no idea where it is, and they said they can't find it in their house either. BAD news! So, I guess I have to run to the bank before I go to work, fer frigs sakes.
Last night, Chris went out and bought Paul's birthday presents. We got him a Thomas the train couch that pulls out into a sleeping bag bed and a little bike helmet with puppies on it. TOO cute! WE have it hiding in he spare bedroom.
So, for the interview I actually have to write down what our agency's strategic plan is, how I fit into it, and why I am the best candidate for the job. I am not worried about any of it cept for how to describe what our strategic plan is. I went to my work yesterday and looked thru all the binders, can't find a copy. I called TR back today and told her it wasn't at work, and she said to call my Sup and ask him for a paper copy to refer too. I left him a message, but it may have made me look bad. I don't even know if he will give me a copy or not. We'll see. I'm nervous about it.
Chris is going to be home by noon today, so that will be nice that I will get the opportunity to spend a little bit of time with him before I go into work. He's a nice guy. lol
Anyways, I am going to run now....leave a note.

Hi!
I'm glad to report that I am off today AND have the vehicle! Paul and I will probably go and see B later on this afternoon. We also have to get more milk. It's crazy how often we are going thru the stuff now...I'm not complaining but I think I need to purchase Paul's own 4 litre milk just for himself! :)
Anyways, I've had a pretty good few days. Sunday, Doug came down to visit with Chris and Paul. I guess Paul was very amused by Doug. He got there just before Paul was going to have lunch, and while Paul was eating, he and Doug were playing a copying game. Paul would raise his arms up and down and Doug would copy him. Then Paul would put one hand on the table and doug would do the same. Paul would slap his hand on his knees and Doug would do the same. I guess it was pretty cute because Chris was telling me all about it and wanted to ensure I wrote it down in here. I think it meant a lot to Chris to see his dad and his son bonding. adorable!
Yesterday, Brad and Karsha came by quickly for a visit as they were on their way back home. It's their anniversery today, and they had gone to Niagara Falls for the weekend to celebrate and stopped in on their way home. They visited for just over an hour, and I really appreciated their visit. Chris was pretty disappointed that they had gone before he got home b/c he really likes them and wanted to see them. But Karsha had to be at work for 7am today, so he understood. Anyways, they gave Paul his birthday present, which was a card and two new outfits. One is a t-shirt with buttons and shorts that is safari looking, and the other one is a light long sleeve shirt with a hoodie and pant sent that says "2 cute 4 words" on it. Paul loved it. I am going to put him in an outfit later today when we go out travelling.
I can't believe Paul is going to be a whole entire year old next week!!!! It seems crazy insane. I have no idea where the time went. He's just so grown up compaired to how he was when he was first born. I just love him sooooo much!!!!
Anyways, I should probably run. Leave a note!
